Default Problem with my website.?

I am trying to make a online forum website. I have loaded the forum software and am fairly far setting it up. When go to my website, it doesnt take me to the forum, i must click an additional link to get there

i am using the hosting service BlueHost.

How do i get the forum to show up right away when you type the URL in?

Default Why won't MSN Live Messenger download ?

It sounds like when you did the install of the forum software it wasn't setup in the root directory of your website.

You can either (1) reinstall the software into the root of your "public_html" directory or (2) You can edit the .htaccess file in your root directory.

So you should add something like this to your .htaccess file.

Redirect 301 / /forums

or

Redirect 301 / http://www.Myforumwebsite.com/forums/

Basically this is stating that / is your root and it redirects to /forums or http://www.myforumwebsite.com/forums.

Wherever you installed your forums.

Its not a true "redirect" when your website is accessed it sends them immediately to /subdirectory.
