Default Process terminated when SSH quit?

If I'm on a linux server through OpenSSH, when I disconnect my SSH client does it terminate the processes I had running?

the sshd process on the server will stay running.

you only close your session and connection through port 22 or another port if you have changed the default port, which you certainly should do.

good advice kevster you should always change the default port for running ssh its the first thing i do on a new server
