Default How to make PHP mail() work with LXAdmin?

Hi guys, I just got a new host and I'm now using LXAdmins, it has taken me a while to figure everything out, but there is one thing I can't figure out.

I can't send mail with PHP and mail() and I can't figure out why.

I guess the settings are in {Server Mail Settings}
"It is very essential that you set the my name to a properly resolvable hostname, since otherwise, many public mailservers like hotmail will reject mails from your server."

So it asks for "My name", do I just put any domain name there or what?
I tried with one of my .info-addresses but still didn't work.

Help please

Actually, I bet LXAdmins has disabled the mail() command entirely. Because mail() is subject to form injection attacks and can lead to mail servers getting banned, many hosts disable it and require you to use an SMTP account to send mail, such as PHPMailer, which is available at sourceforge.net

The info you are looking at in the control panel is about MX records and has to do with your POP and SMTP mail. Don't mess around with your MX records unless you know what you are doing, or you'll probably wind up making it impossible to send or receive any e-mail to or from your domain, period.
