I copied some mysql databases to another server. When I try and insert data, I get a

[directory_man]

I get this when I run a php insert script:

Error: Table 'passwords' is read only

All I've done is copied the database folders and table files from the old server to the new server. What can I do to fix this problem?

create a user for that database

You need to change the permissions on the files, and you need to be logged in as a user with appropriate permissions.

You probably should create another user with adequate permissions to the MYSQL database. Or edit the the existing user.
