I wish to deploy a service similar to Google's AdSense on my blogs. I wish to know whether Yahoo! Publisher Network is an offering equivalent to Google AdSense? If it's different, then what is it and in what ways is it different from AdSense?

depends firstly on location as publisher is only available to US citizens currently.

Yahoo Search & Marketing is the one that is the same as Google adsense.
