My clients have sites hosted by both GoDaddy and Hostmonster, and I'm especially impressed with Hostmonster over any other.

Hostgator is very good based on my experience. I have been using them for one year and I pay the exact amount every month. I have not yet experience any down time with them. The prices are fantastic and the customer support couldn't be better. Host gator uses the standard cpanel (you can see the demo at their site).

godaddy has always been the best for me and never has a problem with them. Only on shared hosting though
