I am looking for a good, easy to use, free photo editing software.?

I need it to have the ability to input a watermark layer on it (I need to add a copyright to my pics before posting them on my blog). I have been using ACDSee (new version) but it expires soon and I am not sure about spending money on it.

if you are an absolute beginner then try Paint.Net, it is a much superior version of MS paint and much lower to photoshop. but it has all the required tools. if you know editing then the best is undoubtedly photoshop!
